We have a wide variety of products to meet all insurance needs, with an exclusive partnership with a first-class A++ insurer who is recognized by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). This partnership provides SRG clients a reliable insurance solution for their hard to place boats, regarding Third Party Legal Liability insurance coverage.

Third Party Legal Liability Insurance Protection

Third Party Liability insurance is aimed for both yacht clubs/marinas to provide their members an immediate insurance solution; and experienced yacht owners who are looking to insurer for third party liability cover only.

Protection will cover hard to place boats such as carbon fiber ocean racing vessels, which is provided by a quality insurance provider who host a A++ rating with both AM Best and Standard & Poor’s attesting their financial strength.

Third Party Legal Liability Only Cover includes:

  • $10 Million Third Party Legal Liability (Including Racing)

  • Geographic limit of 250NM offshore Australia

  • Coverage for your legal liability includes:

    1. Death, Injury, loss or damage to a Third Party or their property including passengers or crew (where not an employee)

    2. The cost for the rescue of all crew

    3. The costs of salvaging your boat

    4. Loss, damage, or contamination caused by sudden accidental discharge, release or escape of fuel, lubricants or sewage from the boats holding tank for up to $500,000 per occurrence.

    5. Costs of any attempt or actual raising, removal or destruction of the wreck of the boat

    6. Any costs that result from any negligent or failure to raise, remove or destroy the boat

    7. The terms and conditions of any lease or agreement imposed for the provision of a marina berth, mooring or storage facility you own or use

  • Plus:

    1. Legal or other reasonable expenses incurred to defend a loss (insurer approval)

    2. Cost to attend court proceedings to a max of $250 per person per day.
